Type 1 Diabetes is a condition that causes your blood sugar level to drop below 70mg. This is very dangerous because Glucose is essentially the fuel your body runs on and if it gets to low your blood sugar can drop and the person can need rapid medical treatments.
Diagnosing diabetes early on is critical to keep many of the low blood sugar symptoms from becoming worse. Some of the symptoms include sweating, shaking, rapid heartbeat, anxiety and possibly hunger pangs. If you want to prevent low blood sugar symptoms you will need to limit your intake of sugar laden foods such as chocolates, cakes, candies etc. Many of these foods contain a fat which makes it more difficult for your body to absorb. Once you have been diagnosed with diabetes you will be assigned a nutritionist who will help you manage your diet.
